It can be hard to find the right words to describe natural disasters, such as the recent earthquake off the coast of Chile which has killed more than 300 people onshore. But it's easy to spot the wrong words when they are used, such as on the Guardian website where an image appeared with what I assume was intended only be a holding caption and header while the page wasn't live.

Seems fitting for the Grauniad that they couldn't even spell Chile in the 'Chlie sausage' (??) comment.

Might be showing my age here but I remember seeing a copy of Smash Hits in about 1988 with a caption along the lines of 'Put pic of some shit boy band here'
