You remember the ad: thousands of brightly coloured balls bouncing downhill in San Francisco to a Jose Gonzalez soundtrack. It was great, right - as adverts go? Well now Sony has shot an advert which spoofs its own lauded 2005 Bravia campaign:

What a uninspired advert. Why is this even a post? (on this otherwise excellent blog)

Chris, I entirely agree - it's not a great ad. I shared it because I thought people who remembered the original - fondly or otherwise - might have a view (such as your own). It was hailed as a great advert at the time so it seemed interesting Sony would allow it to be so poorly rehashed. We don't do much on advertising - and this was almost certainly one for that side of our readership. Thanks for reading and commenting.
