Every now and again newspapers and websites accidentally use the wrong image to illustrate a story. Like this from The Mirror's website, which was live for at least 12 hours, much to the confusion of readers (hat tip: Gareth Winchester and Dick Mandrake):
Elsewhere on The Mirror's website the clue to how this happened may lie in an article about Superman which appears to be a missing a picture:
Now the offending article has been corrected the 187 'likes' and the 505 times it has been Tweeted - no doubt due to the picture gaffe - look rather odd, given the subject matter. Those stats appear to be many times higher than the Mirror might expect on a similar story.
