Some quarters of the media have been working overtime to discredit those people who went on strike yesterday but this, below, is surely a leap too far even for the Daily Mail, given it not only insults any notion of logic but also, more worryingly trivialises the death of a young girl for cheap political point scoring
Update: Even the girls own parents rather pointedly said: "Our beloved daughter's death was a tragic incident... and we do not want it to be connected to any other events. We politely ask that our privacy be respected at this time."
Sadly the reality could hardly be more different to the parents expressed wishes, though as of around 16:00(BST) the Daily Mail had bowed to pressure and removed the "because..." from its headline.
