Leicester City footballer Paul Gallagher is clearly making good use of the closed season. Yesterday he signed up to Twitter, joining the likes of fellow professionals Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney.
For those footballers who have grown distrustful of the media, Twitter is a great channel to communicate directly with fans and show them the true personality behind professional football's tarnished facade. I think you've made the assumption that someone who makes a living kicking a ball about must be inherently stupid, uncouth and sexist and have decided to run with it.
