Today the Daily Mail has been up in arms about the BBC screening some brief scenes of carefully shot nudity before the watershed during Sunday night's Sherlock. In fact it's all the Mail could do to muster the strength to write about this outrage... and publish a selection of screenshots, so its readers could decide for themselves how outrageous the images are:
Of course the greatest irony about this isn't the Mail trumping up yet another story of outrage as a thinly-veiled excuse to publish pics of some naked flesh. It's the pictures of naked flesh which are all over the Daily Mail's website every single day, surrounding the occasional article about carefully filmed pre-watershed nudity on the BBC:
