At the time of writing, the Daily Mail continues to run a story on its website, despite Tabloid Watch pointing out two days ago that the paper had been taken in by a joke that rendered its story a complete work of fiction:
As Tabloid Watch makes clear: there was no snow in Lutterworth; there was no Shanda Lear and neither the name nor the accompanying photo actually ever appeared on the BBC. Rather it was the work of an individual called Jody Kirton who created the image in Photoshop as a joke and posted it online - only for the Mail to find it and run the story.
