On this day, 15 years ago, many of us were waking up to the news that Princess Diana was dead. Some people, it's been well-documented, took a little while to get over it. But nobody mourned Diana in the way The Express newspaper did. The 11 days her story was on the front of The Express following her death were nothing compared to the number of times she featured in the intervening years.
So it was with great surprise that people saw today's Express and noted they have let this anniversary of Diana's death pass without the obligatory front page photo. Perhaps they have finally moved on. (Either that or somebody just forgot and is in big trouble this morning).
