BBC Question Time this week introduced its @BBCextraguest Twitter feed. The idea is straightforward enough - each week a guest tweeter will comment alongside the broadcast of the show.
First up was The Spectator's Toby Young, who found the temptation for self promotion in front of such a captive audience all too much:

It's a bit like inviting somebody to your party only to find them trying to sell tickets for a different party across town. Perhaps they should have gone for @BBCunwelcomeguest.
